A fairly recent post mentioned 'pet subjects.' Do you have one? Or a few? One of mine would be wilderness living, as in Helen and Scott Nearing's Living the Good Life: How to Live Sanely and Simply in a Troubled World or Justine Kerfoot's Woman of the Boundary Waters: Canoeing, Guiding, Mushing, and Surviving.

I love fantasy stories that sounds realistic- like Thomas Covenant or Dune (which is more sci fi, but it's still fantastic).-Thea
I don't know if I have a pet topic, but I do have certain elements that I like in all stories: gigantic, epic final battles; great acts of self-sacrifice; showing of character weakness. --Ab-Y
